ServersHow things are looking, server-wiseCurrently there are four servers (not including Services) on Induced IRC. The following servers are listed in order of admission to the network except for iServ and Shintara which were the original two servers:
Server Detailsiserv.induced.net:
shintara.induced.net:
vilesilencer.induced.net:
bat.induced.net:
Ancilliary Servicesservices.induced.net:
It is possible to simply use irc.induced.net and no matter what the situation, you should always be able to connect to a server, though using the server addresses below that you can usually connect to the server of your choice. There are some other addresses too, supplied by the server sponsors and most of the original chatters will have been using these until now. These addresses, irc.iservhost.com.au and irc.shintara.org are still available for use but are no longer official entry points. PortsIt is possible to connect to our network on the default IRC port, 6667, though connection is also available on ports 6668 and 6669. It may at times be possible to connect on other ports but they are not officially supported and Induced IRC reserves the right to block unsupported ports without notice and at any time. I want to connect to X server but connect to Y server instead...This may happen when we are carrying out any maintenance and we may make changes in the DNS or port forwarding arrangements prior to this to cause as little inconvenience to as few people as possible. Once any maintenance activities are complete, the norm will be returned to. |
